2. Information We Do Not Collect
Calculator - Unit Converter is a fully offline app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The App does not require an account, login, or any form of registration.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, Android ID)
- Location data (GPS or network-based)
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- Financial or payment information
- Browsing or search history
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data only on your device using local device storage (SharedPreferences and local database). This data never leaves your device:
- Calculation History — past expressions and results you have entered
- App Preferences — your selected angle mode (Deg/Rad) and keyboard layout preference
You can delete your calculation history at any time from within the App (History screen → Delete All). Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all locally stored data.
4. App Permissions
The App requests no sensitive permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage files, or any other sensitive device resource.
Only standard system permissions required for basic app operation (such as displaying on screen) are used. No dangerous permissions as defined by Android are requested.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The App is completely free with no advertisements.
The only external service involved is the Google Play Store — the platform through which you download and update the App. Google Play's own privacy policy applies to that interaction: policies.google.com/privacy .
6. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Since we do not collect any personal data from any user, there are no special risks associated with children using the App. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy by design — no data collection occurs.
7. Data Security
Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to any server, the security of your information depends on your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We encourage you to use a secure lock screen on your device.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via an App update on Google Play.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Your Rights
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data held by us that you would need to access, correct, or delete. All App data is under your direct control on your own device.
If you have any concerns about data stored locally on your device, you may clear the App's data via Android Settings → Apps → Calculator - Unit Converter → Storage → Clear Data, or simply uninstall the App.
